My Legislation

As your State Representative, I am always working to improve our Commonwealth's laws and policies. Part of this process includes authoring legislation.

The process begins by sharing what is known as a "Co-Sponsorship Memo" with my colleagues to outline what my legislation intends to do.  This allows other House members who agree with my proposal to sign onto the bill regardless of party.

Once the bill is formally drafted, the House Chief Clerk's office assigns it a number and refers it to one of the House's 27 Committees for further review.
